Advertising Copywriter Intership

Infusion E-Business is looking for an intern interested in creative writing, channeling this writing into web ready content as it relates to our client’s products and services. Through the use of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) principles, the intern will learn the basics of writing web content to improve webpage ranking within search engine results. An emphasis will be placed on product, category, and informational copy.

Intern Responsibilities:

• Work with the online marketing team to produce keyword rich product, category, and informational copy for our client’s websites
• Write clear, persuasive, and original copy
• Learn Search Engine Optimization (SEO) techniques for writing web ready content
• Optimize content and analyze results using industry leading tools
• Learn about editorial process
• Learn project and task management processes

Requirements:

• Excellent command over the English language (Bilingual in Spanish a plus)
• Marketing, PR, Advertising, English, or General Business Majors or related major
• Strong passion for creative writing as it relates to e-commerce
• Desire to learn about e-commerce industry and internet marketing
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment

Duration: Approx. one semester or one quarter with potential for two (10-20 hours per week) we are flexible and willing to work around school and/or work schedules.

What we Offer for You: Internship is unpaid, but an extensive amount can be taken from this experience. An internship in the advertising copywriting field is a great way to get a jumpstart on your career and gain tangible working knowledge. Internship will not only enhance resume but will provide student with a platform for launching a career in online marketing.
