Paid Search (PPC) Internship

Infusion E-Business is looking for an intern to learn about the world of paid search marketing on the internet. Internet advertising is an essential business component of the e-commerce industry, and many companies use pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns to drive traffic to their websites. The intern will learn how to effectively build, manage, and maintain paid search campaigns as well as learning how to manage shopping feed listings.

Intern Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Online Marketing Team to learn about current Google Adwords and Microsoft Adcenter campaigns
• Assist in creating and optimizing PPC campaigns
• Research and add keywords to existing adgroups
• Learn how to use Google AdWords and Microsoft Adcenter interfaces and tools
• Analyze overall effectiveness of PPC campaigns in Omniture and Google Analytics
• Create ad text that is consistent with client’s marketing goals and search engine requirements
• Run Landing page testing. Including building and analyzing campaigns
• Manage bids and keyword position to achieve desired Return on Investment (ROI)
• Shopping Feed account management including proper categorization, optimization, unique feed copy, and reporting
• Learn project and task management processes

Requirements:

• Marketing, Advertising, Business Majors or related major
• Motivated individual with a desire to learn about the Paid Search Advertising realm of the E-commerce industry
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral

Duration: Approx. one semester or one quarter with potential for two (10-20 hours per week) we are flexible and willing to work around school and/or work schedules.

What We Offer for You: Internship is unpaid, but an extensive amount can be taken from this experience. Intern will learn from PPC professionals and will gain first-hand experience dealing with real clients and campaigns. Internship will not only enhance resume but will provide student with a platform for launching a career in online marketing.
